Praterinsel: revitalization of the former famous Bavarian Riemerschmid liqueur factory in Munich

In 1835 the main building of the former Riemerschmid liqueur factory was built on Munich’s Praterinsel. In 1922 the architect of the last rebuilt was Richard Riemerschmid, a grandson of the founder. Even after moving out in 1984, the former factory rooms were used artistically as a Praterinsel action forum in line with family Riemerschmid tradition.  After the sale to the company of Dr. Brunner began the renovation (2018-2021) and new use. Today the listed building is used for cultural events and as office spaces.
